***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

Yeah I was getting the exact same last night. I could see there was about 800 or so people playing circuit races, yet when I tried to join a game I got dumped into a room by myself. No one even entered the room when I left it for 15 minutes while I was on the phone.

I was hoping that tweet by T10 meant they had fixed it :(

Got mine day before yesterday but been busy raiding in WoW and at irl friends house, gonna really have a shot later tonight I think. Gonna build be a cool Honda Civic if I can!

Yeh I've got one tuned to S700, really wanted it to be good to drive. But it has no grip at all, even with high downforce wings it still breaks traction above 100mph on corners.
It's pretty ballistic in a straight line now I've put twin turbos on it though :D
 
Haha! I think thats about all it's good for.

I even tried softening the rear suspension to give it as much grip as possible, but then it was like trying to push a jelly around an icerink.
 
Bought a WRX 08 and spent nearly 200k making totally race tuned. Handles like a turd :( Made it rear wheel drive and it was a little better. Bought some ones drift setup and made it a bit more bearable on fujimi.
 
gonna get an xbox for this game it looks that good, few Q's though. is it worth getting forza 2 aswell as forza 3 or is 3 the same but a better version? like gtr2 is to gtr1 imo. or is there a lot of extra different content in forza 2 worth getting? also snapping up a lot of the £10 "classics" games too, GoW Fable2 Halo3 etc etc :)

Probs be able to fix that with some Diff settings and some suspension tweaks.
How is it handling? Going to hazard a guess at feeling very stiff turning into corners with lots of understeer?

i think i have the same addiction m8, it all started with the merc sl65 black it now has 1045 bhp and is R3[766] and now it's my lambo reventon 931 bhp R3[790] but saying that its a little more drivable than the sl65

oh no just remembered i got given the veyron the other day and have 400000cr in the bank........... hmm wonder how insane that will be tuned to the max lol:cool:
 
I quickly fell into my old Forza 2 ways as well;

Oh look, I have 500k! What can I buy? I know, I'll buy this terrible F-class family hatchback and spend 400k making it into a racecar!

Having said that, I have made/tuned some quality cars and now have a car I love driving in every class & for every occasion. :D
 
Drop the differential settings down to 0% (can increase later if need be)
Alignment: Increase front camber angle to maybe -0.8, Set caster angle to around 5.5, 0.1 positive toe on the front, 0.1 negative on the back. Soften the Front Anti Roll bars, and Both front dampers.
If you Make the rear AR bar much stiffer it should also induce a bit of oversteer :)

Try some of those settings out and see how much of a difference it makes. (without driving the car I have no idea how well they would work) But these are the usual settings I make when I first get a car that is understeer prone :)
 
Looks like a big supermarket has started selling this for £29.87 today for anyone who's about to purchase.
 
Been trying to tame my 780bhp FWD car.... It's not working too well. lol.
It's 2-3 seconds slower than my DBS around both Sunset Infield and the Full Monserat extreme circuit.
However I think its about the same speed around Nord, the extra power makes a huge difference in places.

It's funny to drive though, will wheelspin in 5th gear at 140mph, and when it does wheel spin it goes in a straight line and looses any ability to corner, go easy on the throttle and its pretty manouverable. It just has awful brakes!
 
Go on then, what is it? :D

I had a 700bhp '71 Skyline that was quick but the brakes just didnt work for some reason, even though it weighed very little!
