Tune? I thought when you do the timetrial, the car is fixed as-is?

Am I missing something?

I did 20 laps quickly yesterday (Need TC turned on), I'm down to 1:37.004, and mid 1:36's uncertified, I will download one of the top replays and ghosts and see what the fast guys are doing differently.

You're right. I thought you do a hot lap and then just set a fast time.

Didn't know you need to go through the leaderboards and go from there. Never done it that way :p

Got an achievement for it aswell :D

Yep, apparantly, you all VIP's where sent it by mistake, then you also got one for entering the official Nurburgring GP timetrial..


And news at 10, a patch is in the works, it will address amongst other things, the big glitches of transmission swap and 6th gear uber speeding..

Drag racing gets an overhaul, you finally have control over the revs, and I believe stickier tarmac and the like, no doubt to make it a bit closer to the real world, no doubt, wheelies will be do-able now!..

And a New DLC pack out early march!
 
Wow, well, I think I've discovered my absolute driving heaven, the Ferrari F430.

I'm new to the whole car thing, but this thing is just incredible, the sound, I'm sat here with the headphones on, they're cranked up probably much too loud than what's good for my health, and my right hand index finger is kind of sore from the gas.

The F430 with proper manual transmission is just amazing, this is the most immersive driving experience I've ever had (not hard really since I've never played driving games before) but I'd also say it's one of the best gaming experiences I've had too, rarely have I had goosebumps on games but shifting up through the gears and hearing that thing hit 9k revs each time is just heaven :p
 
F430 and the other one the scuderia i think? both sound amazing, as does the F40. the lambo lp-something sounds incredible too :D
 
I think the Scuderia is in one of the DLC packs? I was looking for it but coudn't find it.

I haven't fallen in love with the Lambos, yet, the Gallardo is really fun to drive though.

I'm stopping for the night now, got a bit of a headache :o

Its one of the Limited Edition cars. Apart from sounding awesome I dont think your missing much if you only have the normal version. Another awesome sounding car to add to the list is the Carrera GT. Im impressed with the gift cars Turn 10 have sent out, been missing a Falcon from my garage (im cheap you see) and adored the Ferrari 330 P4 in Forza 2 but Im way off 11 million credits so unable to buy one (not forgetting being cheap).
 
I keep looking at the extortionately priced ones, really glad I got gifted one. TBH the 330 is nice to look at but rather tame to drive. T10 feel free to gift me some more expensive cars :D
 
Just bought the hot holidays DLC pack, I'm surprised how 'meh' the GTR r35 is :p I'm sure it's a great car but it certainly doesn't provide as much excitement as I thought it would.
