Thats what I was trying to bring up earlier (post 1397) and this was already available in FM2 but seems very few knew about it because it was within the multiscreen setup.
The default setting is waay too close for my liking.

Well just wondering if any one has recived a copy yet from any store? if so how is the drag racing in it? Wouldnt mind Tuning a Nissan Silva and taking it to the drag :D

Oh also MS annouced that Perma bans are starting for people who are playing illegal copies of this and borderlands not that its a surprise

The Ban-hammer has been wielded... Seems people playing early that shouldnt be are getting their XBL Accounts permanently suspended!...

Basically we want you to e-mail us proof that you have indeed placed a pre-order on Forza Motorsport 3. Below is a step by step on how to do it.

  • You must be an Xbox LIVE gold member to participate.
  • Download the Forza Motorsport 3 demo and finish one race (vs. the AI) with the gamertag you want to register by 12:00am PST on Monday October 26th 2009.
  • Pre-order Forza Motorsport 3 before Monday October 26th 2009 and be sure to have a receipt which shows the date of your pre-order.
  • Write your gamertag legibly in print letters onto the receipt and take a clear photo of said receipt with all printed information visible.
  • Email the photo to [email protected] with the subject header “Forza Motorsport 3 Pre-order Car Giveaway”. Include the photo as an attachment to the email, and also include your gamertag in the body of the email. Your e-mail must be received no later than 12:00am PST on Monday October 26th 2009.

Online pre-orders, just print the order out, write your gamertag on it, scan it in/take a pic of it, and e-mail it in!...

It makes no mention of if you accidentally cancel the order just after you've printed the order out though ;)

About to pre order the Special Edition, have found it for £46.85 but it is out of stock :(
Haven't found it under £54.99 yet. If I can't find it less I'll probs just buy it in the shops to save worrying about Royal Mail failing to deliver it.
Really looking forward to that test track, looks much more open than the Oval in Forza2, should be great for some silly high powered slipstreaming :D

Well that's interesting, they've banned the account and not the console, unlike before. OK, peeps might be miffed if there gamertag with 20 gadzillion points is lost forever, but they still get to make a new account and use their xbox.

Ah it's not all that bad, not permanent, the suspension is only until 31/12/9999.

Could be worse, theres a guy on youtube who got the game early and is doing request video's (specific things people want to see in game). Apparantly T10 has told him to cut it out.

After seeing that I went on and checked expecting him to be suspended too.

I really can't wait to get hold of the paint tools, i shall spend most of the time painting cars rather than racing lol!

I might try my hand at race liveries rather than theme ones to begin with as I already did a 24 and Heroes theme for forza 2 so I want to try something a little different!
 
I'll paint my cars, but not close to some of the detail I've seen online. Most complex I've done is an XJ220 with Martini Liverly, it's not even very accurate, but it looks ok from a distance lol.

I've done Lamborghini police cars too :D Most of my cars are just stock colours though, wish I could export and paint them in Photoshop!
 
Will redo the only car I put much effort into, the Rothmans 959
Always wanted the Tamiya RC version as a kid and never got it.
must have spent 50 hours on the one I done for FM2 but then upon finding the glitches in the panels and when racing the damn car the logos moved all over the place, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :mad:

I've got a plan to make some Forza monies, but it all depends on how early I get the game. I suspect others plan to do the same paintjob/livery so I need to try and be the first. :p
