^^ i agree on that.

my list off the top 3 through experince and those around me are

1 O2
2 Vodafone (who i currently use)
3 three

i would not ever use the others, maybe just bad where i live, but still

Apologies if this has already been reported or is already known, but according to one of the Vodafone chaps on their forum, Google have pulled/suspended the 4.0.4 update. I'm guessing it's due to the reported signal problems post upgrade.

If I was at home I would link to my semi scientific testing of the networks, but on my phone so either sexy my site, our trust me :)

1 Three
2 O2 / GiffGaff
3 Vodafone

It will change area to area though

I used T-Mobile/Orange and had no issues at all in 2 years. Best customer service by far. Back with O2 and I think their 3G coverage is worse, obviously depends on the area.

TBH its gonna vary from place to place, where my best mate works out in the sticks his entire office have switched one by one to orange as its the only one that works,

yep i have vodafone and have the signal issue after upgrading to 404, it comes and goes and is a real pain in the arse, so stay on 402 mate until it's rerolled and sorted. can i have a link to the post?

so almost a week since I got new sim, and no wifi issue...
but with 4.0.4, Ive noticed that at work, where signal is terrible, phone tends to loose signal almost all the time, and once it does, it is not able to get it even for hours...only reboot helps, but sometimes only for minutes...

am thinking about pulling back to 4.0.2...

shall I request for new mobile over phone or in shop ??

an I just LOL'ed few mins ago...
After I posted above, I started to shoot video with IiPad...so icons are blue no internet and phone loads only cached pieces...switched wifi off....works fine with 3G( icon is blue as it was on WiFi) switch wifi back on...lost google services sync!!!
and again no web pages etc...I even pointed iPad on my PC screen to show that there actually is internet

just tried on ipad and wifi is live...
again on phone switched wifi on and lost google sync and no internet over wifi :/

used Chat on their web page...repair team will be in touch with me, so I will see what they will try to tell me that I dont know ;D

am not going to accept a repair again...not really want another nexus....

in last few hours - when I haven't noticed the issue earlier, I missed only over 20emails , some of which were business related :/

but they are saying about loosing signal when phone is sleeping...
I had no internet when phone is used and awake....

me neither, its because when the phone is sleeping (ie not in use) the signal drops because the cpu drops to a level, and then the ISSUE is the recovery time.

you may as well try and blag a replacement handset and keep it on 402

I do understand what you are saying.
I had signal. All icons were there...had to switch wifi off as usual to get working but this time it did not helped...I had Internet while back on 3G.

Will see what O2 people say when they get in touch...I may load 4.02 tomorrow and see if new sim card with better software helps in the end.

On 4.0.4 I find phone really sluggish.

Biggest mistake for me was going on O2, signal is terrible, t mobile was much better, writing this on gprs

It's so bad I'm getting a 3 sim and if that has 3g H signal I may terminate the contract and go with 3
Might go for one X as never had signal issues with HTC

Also had to restart my phone after losing cell signal
