My brother just ordered an iP4s for £38/month, free handset, with T-mobile. I can't help but think that the Gnex has to be priced just below the iP4s, otherwise the general public will just ignore it and go for the iPhone.

The sim free price quoted is actually more expensive than the iPhone, seems like madness to me.

How much space does a 16GB Android phone typically have available to use after the OS partition? 13GB?

Surely that is the price point for a free phone? There's bound to be better deals available if you're paying partially for the handset, plus the Nexus S was over priced at release (and for quite a while afterwards), I assume Samsung will be more interested in what they can do for the GS3 which must surely be announced at MWC end of Feb?

£45 is a lot as a price point for any free phone (over 24 months). You'll only see networks (directly) trying to rip people off with prices like that.

This will be available sub-£35 and possibly sub-£30 soon from the third party places.

Most will be £30 to get a decent phone but hardly use what ill get.

i use less than 100mins a month probably about 300 texts and well not sure about data as of yet

prefer 18month contract but will consider a 24

Mobiles.co.uk have got it up from £31pm, 600 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb data and the phone is free. ..... 24 months though.
