This doesn't seem likely guys - O2 have already confirmed they will stock it from the 14th at the earliest and 17th at the latest.

Not all online sites are showing delayed shipping either yet - It seems quite likely that some units will be available but we just don't know where yet.

It would however be a safe bet to head into Phones4u next week if you want one.

Page 36 has a window from O2 online saying they will stock it on the 14th.

I have also asked in store and they told me from the 17th they will have it.

I can't be sure that online retailers won't be delayed as well but this exclusive for Phones4u is about in the high street and on contract - so a few SIM free sales isn't going to make a difference - thats not to say that I know either way.

This very much reminds me of the Note. Samsung said it would be out on the 3rd in Phones4u, Carphone Warehouse and O2.

As we all know O2 are not stocking it and the other two places only seem to have them in major cities like London and in very limited stock.

Not to mention the Note had its date moved many times - Gummobile who I trust and I have talked about before had the original date for 31st October for the Note - it then moved to 17th November and then back to the 5th November but in the end they had it in stock on the 3rd BEFORE the street date. So anything could happen between now and Thursday.

Unfortunately that is no more concrete than anything else. Sales staff give out wrong information more often than not.

It was the same with the Galaxy S II. P4U got it a week earlier than everyone else. The fact that Samsung keep 'recommending' them on their sites also indicates there is some sort of deal in place.

Yup it can't be relied upon. I've also tried the chat thing just now and got:

I would love to help you with this, but sorry to say that we do not have any update on the same from Samsung for the Galaxy Nexus. However we're expecting it by the maximum December.

Feel Lucky you're not talking to 'Tarak' from Vodafone. I asked and all I got was that they were 'waiting for a word from the google' I kid you not :D
 
on p4u some tmobile deals appeared
...will wait until this 17th... and see...just had a good think abou, and last time when I upgraded, tmobile 'financed' towards mine dhd £370 so it came out really cheap...will wait and see
 
I have a source who says O2 will have it next week on Thursday. But until we get to Thursday we can't be sure.

The good news is that next week it will either be out or we will know 100% it's exact release date.
