Very few people spending £500 on a phone go into a store with an open mind and having no idea of what they want.

Surely many of them get them very cheap if not free, they go in looking for a phone on contract?

Don't forget, those of us that buy SIM free are probably in the minority.

Didn't just mean sim free, also was talking about people buying £500 phones on contracts. Perhaps I should have just said 'super' smart phones or phones in the iphone market category.

Same applies.

I bet my issue will be that I'm with tmobile and might not get more than 500mb which is a no no. I'll use more than that this month just on edge

Okay, I would disagree with you then :p I think most people from 18 to 30ish spend £30+ on their bill each month and they have no clue about phones. They are told they can have all these different handsets for free, I don't think they know what they're choosing tbh.

I'm sure people now what there are picking, however they wont all the specs of the phone. Most will just pick something they saw there friend/family member has and they thought was cool or something along those lines.

I think a lot don't even have that knowledge. How often do you here someone say 'Yeah, I've got one of those HTC phones'. That's not the speak of someone who goes into a shop knowing what they want.

Anyway, we're going off topic. You have your opinion and I have mine :)

I guess thats true a lot of people actual think htc is a OS which makes me lol but what i meant is they now some of the basics of the phone like screen size, camera maybe few others but general dont know to much about it.
