Apparently available on Vodafone for new customers, a day or two delay for Upgrades as deals are worked out, but pre-orders open to all Thursday, if not before.

I want to know if they're selling it on PAYG, because apparently the O2 and 3 PAYG phones are locked

The 'Coming soon' splash Screen says 'Coming soon to Pay monthly', No mention of PAYG I'm Afraid

Traditionally, Vodafone's choice of PAYG handsets are fairly poor compared to Contract

It appears as though 3 and 02 will be shipping this on the 17th. I can guess that CPW and Phones4U will be releasing it then also.

Do we have a list of online retailers that will be releasing on the 17th as well? I believe Expansys have delayed it until the 2nd of December.

Also,

With my Desire, I have a little T-Mobile splash screen that is displayed prior to the boot screen. Will this be the case with any PAYG options from the above providers? (I hate that screen and there's no way I can figure out to wipe it, even after a new ROM etc).

Bad news as regards picking up the Nexus from an O2 store.

I hope this information is incorrect!

However as much as I don't want this to be true it won't be too bad if it is ONLY
an in store O2 delay. I guess we will have to keep an eye on release dates today.

Yup, my mate was on with a chat monkey, says online orders have changed date but they should have some stock in some stores.

Sadly, this all coincides with the Vodafone keyboard monkey confirming that their pre orders are live on the 17th possibly NOT Release.

Saying that, anything they say online I take with a huge pinch of salt

It's a shame Amazon are being gay (or their supplier is) cos I'd just get it from there if I could, free delivery with Prime would make it a good'un.

I think I'll be checking the stores first thing Thursday morning. If there's none, then online for delivery on Friday.

I really don't want a rubbish spash screen on my phone though so I'm tempted to just order online.
