Further to our previous message, this testing is not due to the addition of Vodafone content to the device. Galaxy Nexus is a Google experience device and contains no Vodafone branding.
Dear Customer
Your Samsung Nexus upgrade order has been processed and will shortly be leaving Phones4u.
It will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery and you should expect to receive it within the next 3 working days.
....
Many Thanks
Phones4u Customer Service
P4U are dragging their feet with upgrade customers it seems.
That contradicts the live chat I had earlier stating it was dispatched yesterday.
Not looking likely atm that I'll get my GN before Monday.
yes my O2 nexus is locked on contract. O2 have a free unlock service for contract users but its annoying that they felt the need to lock it
What keyboard are people using?
I use thumb keyboard on my Galaxy Tab 10.1, but Im liking the default keyboard more on the phone.
Just noticed this doesnt have Flash and I cant seem to install it form the market. After Adobes announcement about not supporting it any more, does this mean ICS doesnt have flash support?
would icontrolpad work with this?
I just popped into a 3 shop to see if they had any demo phones to have a play on. They were the most unhelpful bunch of sales people I've ever come across.
Me: Hi, have you got any Google Nexus' in?
Him - glancing at another sales guy: Yes I think we do, 3 in fact.
Me: OK great, do you have a Demo one?
Him - again taking orders from another sales person: No, sorry 'coz then it would be second hand and we only sell new ones.
Me: ????? He totally missed the point of the question, DEMO PHONE!
Me: Do you have these SIM Only to buy now?
Him - agian taking orders from someone else: No, just 24mth contract.
They've got demo models of every other high end phone on display, but not this. Bonkers.
Whats wrong with that? They didnt have a demo phone, only 3 of them to sell, and they were selling them on contract only.
Also so many people whine about P4U, but they carry on buying from them? I wouldnt ever go near a P4U store or consider using them, buying directly through the network is always better.
Interesting post about lack of USB mass storage mode:
