Called up P4U. Apparently they cannot give me any information towards the price of payg handsets. I need to check with my local store. What a joke!
 
P4U are dragging their feet with upgrade customers it seems.

Dear Customer

Your Samsung Nexus upgrade order has been processed and will shortly be leaving Phones4u.

It will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery and you should expect to receive it within the next 3 working days.

That contradicts the live chat I had earlier stating it was dispatched yesterday.

Not looking likely atm that I'll get my GN before Monday.
 
Through the magic of very expensive courier delivery services, I should have one of these before the end of next week.

It looks brilliant thus far. I'm expecting to be impressed.

To be honest, they don't have a clue. I've got my mine but they seemed clueless.
Initial online order went through OK but on Wednesday they sent 7 emails!
4 telling me delivery would be delayed until 18th and 3 trying to recall. Got two answering machine messages as well.

Only got my dispatch email at 9.50 this morning and it said delivery would be by 1.00pm the next day via Royal Mail. About ten minutes later, door goes. It was City Link with a delivery I wasn't expecting. It was my phone from P4U!

An hour later, post comes through the door. Letter from P4U, has a letter of apology saying due to an error, my sim card hadn't been sent with the phone. It had been and it was a Micro SIM they had sent with the letter.

Phoned them up, guy didn't have a clue what I was talking about but said he would add some notes to my file.

Beggars belief how they stay in business :D
 
A have a couple of queries to other nexus owners.

Randomly my phone will switch to silent for what appears to be no reason, has anyone else had this? or know how to stop it?

Also is anyone able to add Facebook to the sync accounts? I hit the facebook option and nothing happens!

Cheers, I can't get Thumb keyboard to work properly on it.

Just noticed flash isn't on the device or market. Could be due to Adobe's announcement, shame if that is the case.
 
Is everyone's speaker on this is terrible? Just watched a YouTube video and could hardly hear it and that was at full volume. On the SG2 it was easy to hear at half volume.

They've got demo models of every other high end phone on display, but not this. Bonkers.

Whats wrong with that? They didnt have a demo phone, only 3 of them to sell, and they were selling them on contract only.

Also so many people whine about P4U, but they carry on buying from them? I wouldnt ever go near a P4U store or consider using them, buying directly through the network is always better.

It was clear from his post what his issue was.

Whine about P4U? I think people are just saying what there experience with them has been like. My experience wasn't great but still 1000 times better than my recent experience ordering from Vodafone.

called them and they said it can come as late as 9pm! lol fat chance pretty ****ed off :(
