This is 100% by design, no modern phone trickle charges (we actually test for this) they go down to about 93-95% usually then charge again. It's to do with the design of the battery. Face unlock is gimmicky beyond belief, honestly impressed so many people are using it.

As for p4u, many of you have higher expectations than you should really, they are there to get commissions and make money for them, not you :)
 
Yeah, I went into p4u and the only price available on their system was 629.99, over the phone he said he could do it PAYG and ten pounds credit, so I drove there for that offer, they were unable to do it, also visited CPW and they didn't have any. Screw P4u and their price gouging , really.

Seems like they've wasted a lot of people's time today.
 
So what is the script with the battery in this thing to get the most out of it?

Should you let it run out then fully recharge it, should you just plug it in for a bit every time you are near a charger or does it not really matter what you do?
 
Just off the phone to the local 3 store.

They have just taken their delivery. £499.99 PAYG with a £15 top up.

She thinks the phone's are locked but I'm not sure. Nevertheless she insisted that 3 will unlock it over the phone for me without any real hassle (probably £10-15 or so).

Anyways I'm going to go for it and I've got one reserved!

My transaction was just approved by the cashback site, so it seems my billing stuff has been set up fine by 3, now I just have to wait for the phone :p
