very cautious about these, anything small with tegra 3 has a tendancy to overheat. so this could turn out to be like the htc one x and other tegra3 devices. will wait for a few weeks after release to see how end users get along.

Isn't this much bigger than the HTC One X? Should be fine I would have thought.

apples will start to get a taste of their own medicine now the moto patents are transferred, apparently they are vast and varied.

also helps that apple had the hearing in California

What do you mean diversion? Are you saying that Samsung, HTC and even Nokia haven't tried to sue Apple? I can assure you they have.

The thing is, Apple have been more aggressive recently, but it's swings and roundabouts. They just get more coverage because hey, it's Apple and everyone loves to hear about them; good or bad.

iirc google are not allowed to use moto patents to fight with anyone but only protect them self.

Take one look at Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or the thousands of blogs run by kids and you'll see what I mean. It's almost like Apple is the new Microsoft. It's cool to hate them because they've grown big enough to warrant it.

It's the same with Facebook. People seem to hate it and, apart from the diehard privacy people, nobody can ever really tell me why they do.

One thing I did hate about apple is how they go after small companies, idk if any others do this and it is a big point that ever little thing apple does is advertised.

I think that, to an extent, companies at this level are always going to take pot shots at each other. These days though it's clearly escalating. Like I say, they're all at it too.

I have a friend who went to the google conference and they gave him a free nexus 7. he says he loves the device and it is faster then his S3!!

Might wait for this, really tempted by the specs and price of the Nexus 7 but I feel 7 inch is a tad too small for me.

I do hope that they are as a 10 inch form factor is a much better experience than a 7. I had the original Galaxy Tab and although that was very portable it still felt like a glorified smartphone. Movies and videos looked too small and surfing required a touch of page enlargement. I have been spoilt by using a number of large screen tablets so it is a very subjective choice.
