When I opened the app draw I couldn't see anything or only half a few apps so I went into nova, app & widgets drawers and turned on "card background" which fixed it

For me in Nova, it wont even open the app drawer, I only get app switch. Go back to Pixel Launcher and all is fine. Am I the only one having this issue then?
Have you tried my fix above Andy? Changing the app & widgets drawer setting to card background?
I ended up disabling the 5ghz frequency on my router and with 2.4ghz it works much, much better. Not perfect but it works so I'm happy enough. I just think it doesn't like having multiples to choose from.

But then it sounds like you have a different issue to me. Your app drawer came up, just didn't have the apps? Mine doesn't come up...Is there anything mentioned on the Reddit post I linked?

Ah ok. The only time mine drops out is when I'm in my bedroom. And that's only occasional.
Would it be anything to do with Lease times on the IP in router settings
Mine had problems on the 5Ghz but since I started using 1.1.1.1 dns (and static IP) on my phone on the 5Ghz I've not had and disconnects. Only problem is my phone does not show up on my router in the network but that happens with anything I assign a static IP too

Because I don't need to worry about the battery level on this phone.
I haven't charged it since Wed night (last charge 1d 5h 34m ago) and have 40% at the mo with 3h40 screen and only fairly light use yesterday.
Also, even with the % turned off, it still shows when you pull down the notification bar
