*cries quietly in the corner*They gave me by full £580 back for my 6p!
I was in curry's a few days ago as I was buying a Google Home. Having ventured to their phones area the Pixel holder was empty. So I asked if that was because the Pixel 2 was incoming - they had no idea there was one and said that the Pixel itself had been out of stock for months so you're better off with any of the other models on display. Not exactly confidence inspiring. When do we reckon the display units will appear in stores? (Or maybe they already are??) I wasn't sold on the Pixel last year until I got playing with one in Currys, totally made my mind up.
I've had my Nexus 6P in a case with screen protector on since day 1, and it's still in mint condition. I'll be doing the same with my Pixel 2 XL too.... Spigen have cases on their website for pre-order, so I assume they'll be on the "Rain forest" site soon enough. The Spigen case I have on my Nexus doesn't add much bulk to it, probably makes it easier to hold as well as providing some protection. I'm waiting for media devil to release their range of screen protectors, as I prefer those to others I have used on my Nexus. What's the view on screen protectors and cases, I normally run with no case at all on my phones but put them in a soft pouch when in my pocket.
Pondering doing that, but also adding a screen protector and thin case. Are Spigen and Peel the way go for this?

This is what I've done with my current phone, but I have loads of little abrasions on it now probably from cleaning it and sitting in my pocket unprotected, which makes it look less than perfect and I regret not getting a screen protector.I always buy a case that'll provide mechanical protection to the edges and back if the phone was to be dropped, however I never put anything on the glass. I think it totally ruins the look and experience of using the phone when there's something covering the glass.

Just asked. Btw what is the bug? Is it BT just being crap as it usually is on Android?
Not sure. My 6P is a hilarious mess connecting to BT devices (it's flaky just connecting to my G.Home), though I very rarely use them I admit. My dead Note4 was great though. It's part of the reason why I hate BT being forced upon us - it's just inconsistent from device to device and is more of a problem than a convenience. Why does vanilla android always have BT problems. My N6P was bad for skipping & jumping with bluetooth headphones.
Had a hold of one today in cpw, had a cheap feel to it.
