Would definitely be buying from Google if you get the option - you get sub par CS if you don't

Mmmm, you could be right. Depends how they offer it. If it's £739 with -£100 off then it won't. Like the current christmas deals. If it's a straight £639 for a while it will.
Not getting my hopes up though

It very much seems subscriber length dependent, possibly plan related. I've not had anything since signing up yesterday anyway.
