So that Jon Presser guy was actually right about Google requesting videos of tech reviewers slating the design, never thought any of his videos contained much, if any, factual information.

I'm still clinging on to hope that the XL design was a prototype that was produced in decent numbers but ultimately rejected which is why there are so many devices out in the wild.

I think the only possibility is that there is another device only a select small team know about under extremely strict NDA which is in development due out later this year and its currently in the CEOs pocket :p
 
And MKBHD, seen his tweet?

The emoji at the end of the Google tweet video also resembles the Notch on the XL. So this adds further fuel to the Pixel 3 ultra rumour.

Imagine a Pixel 3 which has no notch and no bezels. An IPX style phone without a notch?!
 
The other weird thing about this whole thing is how out of character it is. Google's conferences are some of the most boring I've ever watched, here's your device, here's how much it costs, go and buy it, or not, we don't really care.
 
I just watched the video google tweeted with the collation of youtubers saying "we know everything" - they're hugely using the fact that this head leaked. Either setting themselves up for something big or a massive fail :p
