**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

Don't see what the hoo-haa is with the notch, I think that XL render looks pretty good!

I'm eagerly awaiting the Pixel 3 after having my S7 Edge for almost two years, will be a nice change and I'm looking forward to having the Pixel's amazing camera. Hopefully they can pinch that low light mode from the P20 Pro!
 
The render isn't bad at all. With regards to the notch you do get used to it but it would be good if Google offer up an option to hide the notch for those who can't stand it.

Huawei knocked it out of the park with their P20 series in terms of camera. Google will have to come up with something spot on or work on their algorithms to be on par with the P20 phones.
 
Not a fan of the contrasting colours and textures on the back. Wish they would just make it one shade/texture like normal phones. Notch isn't ideal either but doesn't look too bad. Specs and price will sway me for the perfect android experience.
 
I was surprised to see 4GB of RAM. I thought they may have upped it this year. I'd love a carbon back like the Oneplus Karbon cases. Nice feel and look to them.

I thought this too when I first saw the Pixel and Pixel 2, but I've grown into a massive fan of the white one! Hopefully that color combo is present on the Pixel 3.

Yes, seems wireless charging a possibility as they are moving away from a metal back to a glass back. Trade-off I guess is between greater fragility vs possible wireless charging. I did not see a headphone jack on the sides so assume I will be continuing to use my Pixel Buds. :p

I've got no issues with the design for the most part. Not at all a fan of the notch but the 2.5D glass and finding a decent TGSP will likely bother me more tbh. What makes it for me is the display manufacturer and price looking forward.
 
This one looks great. Had the original pixel XL and that was brilliant but skipped the pixel 2. This one looks great though.
 
Not a fan of the notch at all but just as important is not using LG panels. I saw the Pixel 2 for the first time yesterday & wow is that screen good. Time to ditch LG & use Samsung panels.
