**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

Right, after messing about for the past few weeks trying to decide which phone to buy....I've pulled the trigger if only to stop me from going insane.

Pixel 3 XL in white on the vodafone deal I posted earlier. Think I'll sell the home hub on ebay.
Bargain deal!!

...and nacho

In F1 speak

Apple = Mercedes
Krin = Ferrari
Qualcomm = McLaren
I'm benchmarks yes. But as shown the Mate loaded many apps faster than the iPhone.

It's all much of muchness anyway, they are all plenty fast.

It's just Apple fan boys love to boast about their beloved Bionic chip.

The app management/RAM management rears it's head again with having to reload every app for the second run of the test. Have google commented on this yet?

I watched this last night and I feel like its summed up what my thought on the phone is as well. Main sticking point being, if you're a phone nerd who want the best of everything, its not the phone for you. But if you want a good phone that does the important stuff well, then its a great choice.

I'm off to Seattle in Feb. I'll pick mine up then.

I've finally got round to popping into CPW for a look. I'll be sticking with my Pixel 2 XL.

Pixel 3 is slightly smaller than I'd like, and the forehead & chin are looking dated already.

Pixel 3 XL notch really is hideous, I couldn't put up with that on a daily basis.

Most of the software improvements like the night camera thing will be coming to the previous generation anyway, so here's hoping Google get it right with the Pixel 4. :)

Great to see some features coming to the Pixel 2 such as the night shot mode and clean up of the camera app. Not had any real urge to upgrade from my P2 so will ride it out until it drops in price or wait until the P4.

As always enjoy watching Mr Mobiles reviews.

Surprised people using a Pixel 2 even considering the 3. I'm personally planning to keep the 3 until software supports ends for the phone.

So about 3 years.

If my Nexus 5x hadn't of gone EOL in terms of software support I'd probably still keep it.

What self respecting hardware nut intentionally keeps a Pixel for 3 years! :p

If the innovation was a little better, I'd upgrade every year. Although I do understand what you mean as everyone is different, so sentence above is a little tongue in cheek.
