**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

Just had another email, Google really want me to upgrade.

Second email with the offer, I think it was £50 first time round though :D

I have the same email.

What can we buy through the store? Anything good?

Any one know what the warranty is for the phone when you buy it from Google?

Or is the warranty the same anywhere you buy it?

Anything you like from the Play store.
"Promotional Balance is added to their account within 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion" Which is the 1st November. So quite a wait before you're able to spend it. :(

Cool. Although the email does say we need to spend it before the 31st of Jan 2019.

Date changed again. 15th-16th November!!

They've already charged my card! And no voucher off... Google really wants me to cancel lol

Also got the email but I haven't pre ordered through Google which is a shame. The wireless stand would have made the purchase pretty much a guarantee.

I got the £75 off email from Google too but I've ordered it from MPD. Are the emails account specific or can I send to someone else to use?

I've always gone for Spigen thin fit cases. They've still protected my phones adequately when I've been clumsy but hardly increase the size of the phone at all.

Same here. My last two phones have had the thin case. I did find tho that it caused some wear on the corners of my Nexus 5. But thankfully no such issues with the Nexus 5x.

I was weary of this issue which is why the rugged seemed good as it is more rubbery so would cause any potential damage to the phone.

But I have now found the thin case on the Rainforest so will probably go with that.

Must admit I love my fabric case, if they're available for the p3 I can definitely recommend

My concern as noted above is when it rains does it not get all soggy and eventually stain/unknit etc?

With a plastic case like the Spigens sure it might get yet but it's waterproof so you can wipe it dry again.

Have you experienced issues with rain?

for me it was phone, but then i didn't tend to hold me phone out in the rain for more than enough time to send a text or make a quick call, so it never got soaked and was always fine.

it wouldn't ever unknit that's for sure. i can't imagine the colours would run

I picked up a Spigen rugged armour case.
I did like the look of th fabric cases but as I generally have the phone in my hand when running it'll get soaked when I get caught out.
