You can do that on the pixel 2. But my understanding is the pixel 3 is gesture only. God knows why. I would prefer the choice.
 
Crikey the camera is incredible. The haptic feedback is also fantastic and wow at the front facing speakers. Very impressed. could have things installed a screen protector before firing it up and touch sensitivity is abit off, have a feeling it's the protector.

Secondly I've put dark theme on but can't notice a difference.

Thirdly can you mirror selfie images

not had a chance to test the camera much, took a quick pitch black shot in the garden, seemed to brighten it up a lot. My screen protector is a little narrow so not cover all of the screen so need to look into that
 
What screen protectors did people get for the normal 3? i went for "
CooHaiSee Google Pixel 3 Screen Protector" from the rain forest. Tricky to get on without blocking the wide angle camera and its abit narrow.

Anyone got one with a good fit?
