Anyone with the 3XL have terrible stereo balance? According to be Google it seems to be a thing, and some daft statement about it being by design?! Wtf. Makes watching YouTube in landscape very distracting and music is clearly louder from one speaker in Spotify.

I thought my 6P was doing this too though intermittently, so wondering if there's a setting that's migrated over. It's not my ears as the imbalance rotates with the phone :P

It's bloody terrible given how ugly the phone is to incorporate the damn things. Google just being the usual numpties.
 
The reg pixel 3 bottom speaker is very slightly louder but not really noticeable when watching or listening to content. I think it's a bigger issue on the XL. Also for those wondering there is zero blue shift on the screen very impressed.

Wish they had the power button on the bottom and volume rocker at the top though it's taking getting used to that

That's by design. It's one of the reasons why I've not got the 3xl yet as I noticed it too much on the 6p and don't want to go backwards with my speakers as on the 2xl it's perfectly balanced. As you say it's distracting.
 
Noticed my WhatsApp messages aren't alerting me. Pick up the phone and I see messages but I'm not getting notifications.

As far as I can tell I have notifications turned on within the app and WhatsApp is not on low power mode etc... Weird.
 
Need a better tempered glass protector not happy with the touch sensitivity being naff. Got a refund shame because it fit perfectly.

Weird mines alerting fine and popping up on the AOD
