I am still rocking the pixel 2 XL, the camera is good but in all honesty. My photos occasionally go on Instagram & twittertTwitter sometimes get posted on here, rarely on facebook. Even more rare they are printed on 6*4 or 7*5 and the rest of the time they are backed up and not looked at again.
Camera isn't high on my priority list to be fair.
I was interested initially in the 4a but then it got delayed and delayed. Other manufacturers brought out some cracking devices and now I don't give 2 hoots about the new pixel. Just feels too little too late.
I mean it's good that they are finally embracing the all screen design and I'm sure the software along with computational photography will be spot on again.
Just still frustratingly behind the competition and a lot of them are catching up on software and camera department too, not to mention widely available GCAM mods. Also no way to overcome physical limitations such as lack of UWA lens which at this point I would have a hard time to forgo. Still think it was a weird decision for them to go with telephoto lens instead of UWA on Pixel 4 when they worked so hard to promote things like Super Res Zoom in the past, which actually worked pretty well for a software solution.
I'm not really sure what those Geekbench numbers mean, bit out of curiosity ran the benchmark on my S10e and got 781 and 2033 so seems pretty solid for a midrange SoC.

im close to buying the nord but will see what the announcement holds. id honestly pay the extra to not need to use bluetooth earphones

Same. Be nice to get back onto the Pixel line from Samsung.
Just hope it's not plagued with crap QC issues. Screen uniformity, tints, etc

What's the bottom picture from ? Looks about 5 years old in terms of bezels
Pretty sure there won’t be an XL 4a, there was rumours of one but I think it ended up getting canned.
