Since brexit 1 dollar = 1 pound pretty much.

You also have USA prices plus tax, where we have UK prices including tax so its not the best comparison when Google say its $400.

im close to buying the nord but will see what the announcement holds. id honestly pay the extra to not need to use bluetooth earphones

I've actually bought the Nord last Friday and should have collected it last Saturday. I'm debating with myself whether to get the Pixel 4A instead. If I can get the Pixel 4A for less than £300 then I'm returning the Nord. I prefer the smaller form factor, lightness, front single punch hole camera and stereo speakers.

But if the phone has been in production with a target date of May, they wouldn't be leaving things till last minute to sort? We already know the 5a is in the works for next year.

Plus, I'm sure in the leaks there where photos of stock ready to be sent out.

OnePlus seem to have still knocked phones out during the pandemic, as have Apple?

But full production and shipping doesn't happen until the last month or so I believe. That would have been April and May.

Any announcement about the 5 would take away from the 4a. Plus the 5 is “supposed” to release in October so any announcement would probably be around then (we hope).

The only reason the 4a is supposed to come today is to get ahead of the OnePlus Nord.
