My fingers went crazy and clicked buy for a Point Of View GTX 480 :D
I play rfactor with the mods, and tried it with my bothers 5870, but didn't run as well as i liked with the aa maxed out, like it did on my other 285.
but from what i read, the ati don't work as well compared to the nvidia cards with this game!!.
i think apart from that, the 5*** cards are exellent cards when playing other games.

As i only really play rfactor, (bfc2 at times) i just hope this new card does the job via rfactor. :p

Since the other thread has pretty much turned into a troll feast, I think I'll repost the test results for GTX480 from Custom PC here:

Test kit: 3.2GHz Intel Core i7-965 Extreme Edition CPU, 6GB Corsair 1,600Mhz DDR3
Drivers: Nvidia Forceware 197.17 BETA WHQL, ATI Catalyst 10.3 WHQL
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (DX 11, Win7 64-bit)

1,920x1,200, no AA, 16xAF
HD5970: min 71fps, average 116fps
GTX480: min 56fps, average 75fps
HD5870: min 52fps, average 74fps

1,920x1,200, 4xAA, 16xAF
HD5970: min 56fps, average 91fps
GTX480: min 44fps, average 66fps
HD5870: min 32fps, average 58fps

Crysis (DX 10, Very High, Win7 64-bit)
1,920x1,200, no AA, 16xAF
HD5970: min 33fps, average 51fps
GTX480: min 20fps, average 35fps
HD5870: min 21fps, average 36fps

1,920x1,200, 4xAA, 16xAF
HD5970: min 23fps, average 42fps
GTX480: min 18fps, average 31fps
HD5870: min 15fps, average 29fps

So it seems that GTX480 do better than HD5870 with as AA get higher. Shame that no GTX470 results until next issue.
