Are you looking for just the board?I know this is a long shot, but is anyone looking to get rid of a pedalboard they don't need anymore?

YepAre you looking for just the board?
Any half decent guitar that plays well will be good as a starting guitar.
Later, once you have experience, you’ll find what you want from a guitar but given a half decent starting point it’ll either be a different style completely (ie difference between a strat to LP or other style of guitar) or just small differences.
this you?
completely insane that someone on whom the guitar literally looks too big to play properly can play that well.
Thanks, yeah I don't want to break the bank incase I drift off it again. But in my researching etc, many suggested stretching for the classic vibe series if possible so pre-owned seemed the way to go.
It looks in good shape and could always move it on if it's not for me I guess.
Just got this itch

You can't go wrong with the entry level Yamaha Pacifica - https://www.yamahamusiclondon.com/Pacifica-012-Electric-Guitar/pidPAC012-SUPER
I was in the Yamaha London shop the other week trying out a POD Express and after making a noise for 15 minutes one of the staff asked me to try out a guitar for him because he wasn't that good.
He said it was the new Yamaha Pacifica Professional and he wanted to hear somebody play it - https://www.yamahamusiclondon.com/P...ic-Guitar-in-Various-Colours/pidGPACP12-SUPER
As soon as I put it on and felt the neck I was in love, I can honestly say it's the best guitar I've played in 54 years and the salesman knew exactly what he was doing
"How much is this?", "£2,500 but I can do you a deal for £1,999"
I still can't stop thinking about it.
£2k for a Yamaha though, the depreciation of them would be insane.
A CV tele for £180 sounds like a good deal. Tele's are great, the only thing I don't like about the non US Fender/squier guitars is the fact that they don't roll the fretboard edges. It smacks of cheaping out on what are actually quite expensive instruments. THe Jet JT300 has a nicer feeling neck, at least to my hands. The other thing to consider is - which guitar players do you like. I've always found a stronger propensity to play guitars that make me think I'm even 5% of my heroes! Hence why I'd never have a Yamaha Pacifica even if it was amazing.Keep debating trying to learn guitar again
Was looking at classic vibe telecasters and one has popped up locally. Barely used apparently, a few years old and the seller is asking for £180 which seems very fair. Pretty tempted by that

It's superb.
Earlier this year I had £2000 for a PRS because I needed one in my collection.
I was in Newcastle GuitarGuitar and went through every model up to £2000 and wasn't impressed.
I did the same with the Jackson's and Charvel's but still not impressed and kept looking at the Gibson's and Fenders.
If I'd had the £2000 to spend in the Yamaha shop it would have come home with me.
Oh I remember your littler PRS detour.
I think my guitar snobbery is showing, but I just can't get myself to spend £2k on a Yamaha. On a Strat clone, I would just go for a Fender every time until I find a Fender that I like.
I can see spending 2k on a Yamaha guitar, even more so a bass. They definitely have some high end instruments, but I'm shocked at a 4-figure PacificaI think my guitar snobbery is showing, but I just can't get myself to spend £2k on a Yamaha.
To be fair, you are a talented professional who needs a guitar for his job. I'm a stay at home noodler with a small amount of ability. Blackmore and Page are also two inspirations, Hence the Olympic white strat and the cherry burst LP.I started age 12 and my favourite guitarists were Marc Bolan, Jimmy Page, Ritche Blackmore, Tony Iommi etc but all the guitars I bought were Burns, Hayman, Shergold etc and I stayed away from those main guitars for some reason.
In 1978 playing semi pro for 9 years I had my first Fender Stratocaster which I still use on stage now.
I never had that affiliation with guitars and guitarists.
I get what you're saying though.
