Another tip (sort of!), if you want to actually hear what you really sound like playing you can get a splitter and have one output going to the game and one to a real Amp/Pedals and just mute/turn down the game volume.Just an FYI; Rocksmith spun my head upside for the first few hours before I realised you could invert the tab on screen to match regular tab orientation.
Hmm I’m still pretty dubious but I may give it a punt!
Awesome - you’ll be on the 1337 sw33pz before you know it!Well got my Yamaha for birthday and started last night using https://www.justinguitar.com/

It's a life long journey by all accounts. I only started 12 or so months ago but I find it immensely enjoyable and rewarding. It can be tough and equally frustrating but when you manage to hit those chord changes or repeatedly nail those riffs its fantastic!Well got my Yamaha for birthday and started last night using https://www.justinguitar.com/

Haha I know what you mean about complexity through simplicity. The chorus riff, for example, of Township Rebellion by Rage, is just about as simple as a guitar riff can get but it sounds absolutely huge - it’s outrageous!I'm pretty sure that Tom Morello uses a hell of a lot of gear to achieve his tone. Tim Commerford (the bassist) certainly does, some of which he keeps a very closely guarded secret. We've gigged Killing in the Name before. Very fun tune to play.
I've been learning a few Audioslave tracks as Tim Commerford is absolutely brilliant. He seems to have mastered the sound of complexity through simple playing.
