As someone who has played M:tG since 1994, I'm actually finding this quite fun. It's very simplistic in comparison but that's perfect for an internet based game where you can blast through games in less than 10 minutes most of the time. Managed to fund 2 Arena runs off the basic training rewards and daily quest and went 7-3 then 9-2 meaning I was able to do 4 more before running out of gold. Had a couple of terrible arena's since trying out a few different classes I haven't really played but it all seems reasonably balanced. Occasionally, you'll just lose to random legendary but most of them can be dealt with by every class and some of the best cards are common and can easily be drafted. I've actually paid for a couple of arenas I was having so much fun, which I did not expect. When an entire Arena run costs less than half what a single booster of Magic: the Gathering does, it doesn't seem that expensive...
