Ladder anxiety and going on tilt are the 2 main things that have prevented my reaching Legend before now. I just said "Screw it - I don't even care if my winrate drops below 55%" and just focused on Golden Portraits instead of Rank. As soon as I stopped caring about Rank and just kept hitting that Play button it all fell into place.

Out of interest where do you guys read up about the latest and greatest in the game. Deck strategies, metas, latest news, tournies etc?

The number is region (EU) rank. Yeah sure we can have some games.



He pulled out Grom + CT for 12 when I was at 30+14 armour gambling I didn't have execute or removal. I didn't and his gamble paid off.

Hey Lodjik well done for the Legend rank.

care to help me a bit get better. i'm stuck in 15-20 hell and keep getting beat by bots getting really frustrating loosing to computer players (I know I shouldn't but ....)

would be nice to play online friendly games against a few of you guys so we can chat and see where we (read I) went wrong.
 
Yes really enjoying them on twitch. Commentators are well funny ...

Pity they are on when i'm with wife and kid so can't really watch.

Was streaming via phone to my apple TV but the wife didn't approve... ;)

Trying to pick up tips but half the battle is guessing what your opponent has left in their deck and 2nd guess their moves.

This is why i was also hopeless at chess.

Sorry bud but I've only got so much spare time and I'm already behind on a few things because I played this game too much recently. Are you sure you're playing bots? I haven't seen a single one in weeks.
 
Yeah I've never seen a bot, I don't play too much anymore but still get a few games a week. Seems people just think everyone is a bot now :p
 
Folks, is there an official page for the world championships? Where do you see details of when these are held etc?(not that I can even dream about taking part :))
 
Watched some of the day 1 games on youtube last night. Watched Runandgun vs FrozenIce. I don't know either of them as players, but there games were awesome, especially the last two.

Surprisiingly compelling viewing (for me, at least).

Hey no worrries mate and yes it was a bot...

3 things tell me this.

1) the time taken between cards on every move was the same.
2) no reply to my goading (spamming chat) usually you at least get a greeting (eventually)
3) same type of moves each time no highlighting of cards by the player (you know you usually see the shuffling of cards by your opponent.) (Warlock every turn draw a card first....)

If you aren't around 20 you won't see the bots since they are programmed to lose a few to stick around the 20 mark.

I'm still not sure what a bot gives a player as you need to play 3 games to get 10 gold so 30 games per pack, given a 100% win ratio which is absurd.


Anyway my plan is to become better and be able to beat the bots.... :D
