The Official Hearthstone : Heroes of Warcraft Thread

Was about to respond asking what you meant above but I assume the bit in the parenthesis should be counterable against the preceding card you mentioned?

Second Golden Hero attained :p Thank god that's over with now I can move onto something faster. Suppose I'll join the rest of Europe and work on the Golden Hunter though I'm going to feel dirty doing it :(

So is everyone excited for the new expansion: Goblins vs Gnomes

Hearthpwn has a list of the cards they have released details on, 30 so far of at least 120 new cards :D:D:D

Whines about hunter, starts playing hunter. :D

:p

I can't do it! I tried but had to immediately jump in the shower.

It's going to change the game completely which is very good thing. They mostly spoiled the gimmicky cards first (like with Naxx) and I'm not worried about the RNG aspect of them. I have faith Blizzard knows what they're doing. Imagine this card combo'd with Commanding Shout and Frothing Berserkers on the board

hahaha, I remade all my decks last night, they were a bit dated so I updated and made some new ones, made a zoo deck and I just could not bring myself to play it. Absolutely disgusting deck.

I played some zoo a few nights ago; was rusty, lost 4 in a row because of some poor plays and opponent getting good starts. Smashed the 5th opponent and he added me to BNet so he could nerd rage at me about ******* piece of ****zoo deck.

I honestly have no idea why people hate zoo so much. Surely if you are going to get beat its better to get beat quickly rather than slowly so you can move on to the next game? I don't think Zoo is any less skilled than wallet warrior (for example) but no one rages about that. Maybe because it's a cheap deck to put together it galls people when their more expensive deck gets beat by it?

How did freeze mage get nerfed out of interest? I would have thought it would be stronger after Nax because of the mad scientists? On the same not mad scietists should probably be increased to 3 mana or at the least made in to a 2/1.

I love it.. oh you didn't draw your removal by turn 4. Unlucky. GG :D (when played properly ofc)

Dude never, ever accept random friend requests in HS.

It's more skilled than most give it credit for.. definitely more skilled than any Druid or Shaman deck. I'd like to see those people pilot the deck past Rank 5.

Just started playing this, and well I am so lost, confused and bad its unreal. My first card game as well! Either way its quite good fun.

You're coming in at a good time. By the time you've got the hang of the mechanics GvG will drop and it will be a completely different game. You won't be chasing trying to catch up with everyone as everything is going to be new.

Its definitely a fun game :). If you have any queries just ask on here, loads of helpful people in this thread.

As a general "throw it out there" comment, Ive seen a lot of apprehension about the new cards announced for GvG, and the heavy RNG element they contain.

Don't know if many of you caught it, but Ben Brode at Blizzcon made some really interesting points about RNG and Strategy in the Fireside chat segment at Blizzcon 2014.

Fast forward to 7:30 for the talk specifically regarding the RNG in hearthstone.

Finishing with 3 Thaddius' on the board, could've been 5 had I played one more round. That was fun. :D

I had something like 5/6 kel'thuzads the other day which was absolutely hilarious.

Completely situational and I am not likely to pull it off again.

Baron Rivendare 1 turn behind a taunt. Then next drop KT and and give it ancestral spirit. The next turn I just used reincarnate on KT which summoned 2 KTs from the Baron Rivendare proc, then 1 from the reincarnate... then at the end of that each of them summon another KT until my board was full. Guy just said well played then quit.

So I havent played for a good 4 months or so and started playing again.

What decks are the best to go for currently? I am utter gash and deck building and genuninely don't know where to start

Haha, that's awesome. You're right it is difficult to pull off anything like that, but man so fun when it happens!
