Just came in here to say I've been watching some of the youtubers playing this and although I was never big into MTG or anything like that this looks like good fun... I guess I'm too late to sign up for the Beta now but I'll probably give it a go when it comes out
 
Todays PC Gamer giveaway has resulted on some keys turning up on auction sites. Some crazy prices being put up. Some people are really desperate for this game!
 
Blizzard like to send troll emails out to those of us waiting for a key with information about D3......gimme the key not D3 AH information!
 
Managed to bag a key for me and 2 friends with the final PC gamer give away, had to edit cookies to allow the giveaway site to see you're logged in otherwise it just timed out.

Keys will be coming out at a more steady rate now and I doubt it'll be long until the bulk of people are playing.

Overall I think it's a good game, although I am slowly losing interest in it, maybe I need to stop playing arena and try building my own decks in ranked mode.
 
I'm still waiting for a key for this, I've been opted in since the first day they were letting people apply, I've tried to get keys from giveaways, I'm having no luck,

I'm a big fan of TCGs, I play quite a bit of MTG irl and MTGO and play Solforge and MMDoc, Here's hoping they start to invite people more and more often now,
 
thing is they have stated that there will not be another card wipe before the game goes live, so the longer they leave it in closed beta the more people there will be whining about people getting an advantage.

For that reason im assuming that the open beta isnt too far off otherwise your gonna start on live with all the closed beta guys having prebuilt decks mopping up arena and new players feeling forced into buying boosters just to compete
 
I would expect opt-in waves everyday next week and the week after as they've said that everyone who opted in will still get to play in closed beta. I was expecting it to go Open soon as well but it's more buggy since the wipe so they still have some work to do. As hard to believe as it is considering there's no more wipes planned I think the people saying Open release will arrive just before Blizzcon are correct.

Not sure why Blizz have done it this way but the Hype train is crashing and people are getting bored and moving on to other things.
 
Same :( I've been opted in to beta tests since ..forever really, and got closed access to SC2, D3 etc yet nothing to this yet, whilst a friend who made a new account and opted in like a few weeks ago got an invite already :(
 
It was from the wave of invites sent Tuesday, I've just been lax in checking email this week :) Not massively fussed with HS if I'm honest, gave it a quick 15 minute go before work this morning, polished but will I go 'balls deep'? Doubtful
 
I got a key for this in the my mail last Wednesday, I like to think that they sent it me because we killed Garrosh 10N the day before :p

As for the game; it's a very simple card game that anyone can pick up. I say that because I absolutely suck at it, but I still enjoy it, I understand how to play it (never played a game of this type before) and the UI is very intuitive. Only thing that is letting me down at the moment is creating a deck. And there is a bug where I can only edit the first 2 sets of custom decks and after that the rest I create aren't editable, but other than that it's a very enjoyable game.
