36-40, 12,000-15,000, office based, Level 4/5 education, 35 hours/week

I'm a marketing and admin assistant for a small engineering firm in the Mid West US. I'm also taking a few on-line classes to finish off my Associates Degree.

Should be earning more considering my age, but at least I'm out of retail hell and can hopefully get something even better once I've finished my degree.

I do also get absolutely brilliant health insurance which the company pays 100% of - worth its weight in gold considering I have a baby on the way.

It's weird, everyone who doesn't live there says that, but the people I know who do actually quite like it :D

If it sets me up for life I'd happily live in Aberdeen for a few years.

Lived there for seven years, commiserations. ;)

But if I could somehow get into the oil and gas industry (preferably in sales) then I'd be happy to move back there for the money.
