Your a sit on the fence kinda guy apart from when it comes to apple - you obviously wont see that, but others do.

No one asked you to apologise, but in your heart of hearts you can't deny that you have more love for apple then other products ;)

Just don't get all jumpy when someone mentions it.
Take a step back a little and just think did you just Read into something the way you want it to read or how the posted intended?
 
I can easily see why it comes across like that, because this particular sub-forum is a bit of a cauldron for Apple dislike and there are plenty of unreasonable people that frequent it.

Anyway, if it's such a big issue you can all make a new thread and whine about it in there, this isn't the place.
 
No cracks on my Touchpad thankfully, or have I just officially jinxed myself? :(

Robbo is the only one here that always compares Apple products whenever one is mentioned. Go back 1/2 pages and its obvious.

I use a case that it just slides in and have just noticed a crack, right after making a protective thing for the back from CF :(

For a fiver the iLuv case does it all. I haven't opened my official case yet cos this one is doing a great job!!
 
People with cracks near the speakers, have you been using a case and if so which?

I have no cracks on mine, but I have only had my touchpad since Wednesday and I've been using the official case all the time. I know there are cheaper options out there, but £17.50 really isn't much and looks/feels nice with great functionality.
 
I downloaded Kalemsoft player but when I play a video it is dissected into 3 screens :p. I don't how to describe it but it's a kin to when you have a frozen window and it leaves a static image of that window. Also when I scroll through the menu, it gets messed up with lines across the screen? What is happening here?

The video player on the touchpad is terrible. Everything plays in slow motion :D
 
Nope, I haven't been using it with a case as quite frankly the official case is crap... (dad has one so have used his with it on frequently).

I'm intrigued to know how it has cracked there though.

I'll admit to not knowing many good case alternatives, but what makes the official one so crap?
 
Strange why you say official one is crap -in what way?

My 5yr old does not treat his with any special care and in its official case it seems fine, and hes had it a few weeks now.

It could be batch issue though?

No, HP are perfectly happy with custom kernals etc.

Although you may get it back in stock form.
