It was looking so good that the glitch was gone till I looked on the same page and it's still there.
Really don't want to contact HP. Over a month and still trying to get a replacement touchstone sorted!

I've had the glitch once or twice before AND after the update. I guessed it was an image rendering problem with the browser (not seen it in any other app)
Can some please post a link to the guide that gets govnah and the uberkernal back to 1.5ghz again on the 3.04 touchpad update.
There was a nice clear guide when I first got my touchpad but I can't seem to find it.
edit - is it just a case of going into preware and updating everything' then restarting the touchpad? That seems to have me running at 1.5ghz on 3.04

You should have uninstalled the older Uber kernel anyway as its does not work with latest webos update.
The new kernel is listed in preware, don't go for 'update' go into preware/list of everything.
use 'search' and type 'UBER' and you will see version 3.0.4-68 for install.
Then update Govnah.

Is there any way to quickly reinstall everything installed from preware? It's not going to be particularly fun removing then reinstalling everything if not.

you don't need to uninstall/reinstall everything, only the uber kernel. The other packages should have updates shown, infact I did the updates before i removed the 3.0.2 uber then installed 3.0.4 and everything was fine.

I have noticed that a few of the patches installed before the update aren't working (even though they are show as installed). Assumed I needed to reinstall them all?

Nope, that's down to the older version of the kernel.
The only reason I said unistall/install uberkernel is some ppl had issues, but that was with a test release iirc

Yet? Ive never had a problem with it connecting to my phones wifi tether.

Not really, as the latest webos update opens up for most Bluetooth devices now anyway.

thanks, was really after a case and a car charger. Im sure I read people had got a case from poundland but not sure if they are any good.

i got a X design gel case from ebay for cheap as well as a neoprene sleeve from ebay as well.
no point in spending the big bucks on an official case and charger, look on ebay and see what takes your fancy.
my neoprene sleeve is going to have a joker picture on it holding a card, i choose that over plain ones and the seller had like over 100 designs to choose from, it still has not arrived yet, ordered last week, its coming from hong kong.
