I told the purple place to stuff their full price reservation even though the online price had dropped but I have a 32GB coming in the next day or two.
 
If you can't get any from major retailers then hover around the MM, people who ordered more than enough for themselves will be putting them up there hopefully.

Its up to them really whether they do or not, nothing has been confirmed its just rumours at the moment. I had to sit all day with about 10 tabs open, constantly refreshing major retailers sites to get mine. As soon as they drop you probably have about a minute to get one before they sell out/the site crashes.
 
Tesco has a price match agaisnt currys which havce dropped the price, think it would possible to claim the money back?

I live near Stevenage so went for a drive...

Staples, 4 in stock but no price drop until "sometime on Tuesday" :(

Purple World, 3 in stock but they have been reserved by 7 people. There already was a few people shouting at the Staff :D

CPW. They didn't know it was going cheap & were stunned when the system came up with the price.... So I had to buy one :cool:

Had a quick browse, flash works & the display is quick, crisp & bright. It's now updating to webOS 3.02 (I think)
 
The thing is though, HP are going to continue developing for it, so it won't be a dead platform for quite a while yet.

When Android gets running on it, well... the sky is the limit.
 
Im in two minds about this,

Display and sound are superb, WebOS is so so pretty very polished,

Some stuff takes too long to load imo and the app catologue is meh..

Still unsure on what to keep this or the ipad 1!
 
I don't understand why they wouldn't try to sell it on if they don't want it any more though (although, of course best case scenario is always to open sourceify the place up :cool:).

Im sure some company would peel the Hp sticker off and slap their own on it. Advent did it with the Vega.
 
i think im keeping it. Ipad has way superior apps but this Touchpad has sooo much potential/ 1.2GHZ snapdrogn with 1GB ram would be amazing if someone can port android over to it.

If i had an ipad2 i probably wouldnt bother though
