How did you install the ipk? My web browser throws a bunch of encoded characters!

Has anyone looked into homebrewing? Talking about legit developer apps here which is allowed to discuss :)

Edit: Nevermind - Must read! Need a file manager and need to go through that guide.

Overall I'm really liking this device so far. A few niggles but the web browsing/cards idea paired up with emails is super win!

Edit 2: I agree - All tablets should be in mobiles, this forum is dead meat!

It doesn't matter. Mobile Phones is the best forum for stuff like this. People won't see it in here and it won't turn into the huge thread (due to modding potential) it would if it was in Mobiles, therefore it will have less posts = less traffic to the site as less search indexes.

Just trust me. ;)

Or just change the Mobile section to Mobile Phones & Tablets, tablets have more in common with phones than laptops.

Robbo has a good point, anything arm based should be grouped into the phones section with '& tablets' tacked on the end.

x86 laptops, even tablet pc's are a totally different kettle of fish from tablets.

I'm not sure a Tablet is anymore like a Phone than a Laptop though, besides if all Tablets were here that would liven the place up ;) You're just lazy and can't be bothered alternating between Laptops and Mobiles :p :D

But I'll take into account what you said and run it by the Suits ;)

The reason I say it's more like a Mobile is that it really is, the iPad runs iOS - the phone software (though keep that in the Apple section I guess), and Honeycomb Android is still Android, just slightly different, etc.
 
I feel sorry for RIM and the other manufactures...

Can't imagine what this is doing to the playbook sales and all those tegra 2 Android tabs. Who's going to buy those now?

HP have just successfully flooded the market by the looks of it :D (for this generation anyway)

Agree with this. They are basically big smartphones running similar if not the same operating systems. Mobile phones and Tablets forum go go go!
 
Right case - What case?

I've ordered the LuvTab. It can be had for £10 delivered from Amazon (seems to be cheapest). It has a good review and it has all the right holes (that's what she said).

What have you guys got?
