At least with buying online you get the 14 day 'cooling off' period, if (god forbid) you don't like the phone lol.
 
Ordered mine a month ago, not soon now :) Im upgrading from a lg cookie, and have been without a phone for a month, it's so painful.
 
Ordered mine, upgrade from a SE 660i so the difference should be huge.

3 tried to offer me a SE X6 or HTC Hero saying they were just as good apparently, t-mobile are the only major phone company i've not been with so fingers crossed they're better.
 
The Hero is clearly not as good, has significantly poorer spec and is a full generation behind.

The Nokia X6 is a music phone isn't it?

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - I don't know much about it but this one is at least Android unlike the Nokia. Also, I don't think they offered you this as it is not on the 3 website. The Hero is the only Android phone on offer right now, though the Samsung Galaxy Portal and the Desire are supposed to be coming soon.
 
If anyone has had a contract with T mobile before I urge you to phone them up or go instore to get the phone. Talking on the phone today, my only T mobile contract finished end of January and been on a 30 day rolling since then, said I could get money off over the phone or instore, but not online.

Quoted me 600 mins, unlimited texts (would have been 500 but had the free booster) and unlimited Internet, £25 a month for 18 month with the handset free ^_^ online I'd have been paying £129 for the handset!

She'll ring me back on monday and can get it delivered for Tuesday, or I can go into a store and get the same deal. :D

Thats quite an awesome deal! Congrats... how long have you been with them to get offered that?
 
Think I was on pay as you go originally, got C902 on contract April'ish '08, ended Jan '10 (18 month) was on 30 day rolling contract sim only since I was waiting for this phone :)
 
just rang another store, aprrently they have them in the warehouse but not in store. in store next weds.

If you ordered online i suppose you may get em now
 
The t-mobile forums are full of stories of the phone failing a quality assurance check and will be delayed until Wednesday.

They also say new customers will still receive the handset.

Basically nothing's clear in the slightest but it would be safe to say that it'll be delayed until mid next week.

All that means is that the software T-Mobile are putting on it is not up to standard at the moment and causing problems.

Once again, networks ruining a good piece of kit. This kind of thing happened all the time with Orange handsets, which is why they were always the last of the big four networks to get the latest handest.
