Any MPD people got theirs?

I pre-ordered on the 20th.

Just got in after a hard 10hr shift and was hoping to play with my new phone, but NOTHING!!!! :mad:

Literally just got of the phone with them regards my order. They've no stock at the moment and they're expecting a large delivery next week although no exact date on that one....

A few on xda have. You should log in on the MPD website and see what the status of your order is. If it has changed to ready for dispatch, you'll get it tomorrow (or so MPD have said).

Edit: I just spoke to someone and they confirmed that 'ready for dispatch' means it should be with them tomorrow between 8am and 6pm.

Rang again, the woman took my number and said she'd ring me as soon as they came in stock and my order had been processed, said the delivery was due imminently.
 
How do you guys check your T-Mobile order status? I've just joined so don't already have a My Tmobile login and you need your number in order to set it up?

Sign up, then they'll send you a PIN to the same e-mail address, that's what happened to mine anyway.

Not that it'll show anything until the phones arrive it seems.
 
Just got one for £30pm 18 month deal via Voda retentions. 600 xnet mins, unlimited text and net included.

Played with it last week and was very impressed. I swear by my G1, and am worrying about the move away from hardware keyboard. Must suck it and see I guess....

Compared to the Iphone it's very open/configurable but this can give the impression of a rough feel compared to the Iphone. Will take some time but worth the effort. Going back to the Iphone now makes it feel steam power.

What do you guys think to this, i've been working a deal with voda and managed to snap this up.

unlimited texts
unlimited internet (500mb)
free htc desire
18month contract
£25 a month

BUT they are out of stock and not sure if they will have any stock this week. Also it will probably be locked and voda branded.

Should i wait another week for the voda deal!?

phone due tomorrow, unbranded and unlocked.

Just been out to CPW and bought one... £399 sim free, well happy :). Going to have a play with it when I get home from work! Should be awesome coming from the G1.

My MPD order is now saying "Ready for Dispatch" even though i requested via email 5 days ago for the order to be cancelled, and having asked for "read receipts" i know they have read my requests for cancellation.

If they charge me for postage they will be in for a world of pain!

I think ill keep mine, but not activate my t-mobile sim, then ill use my current voda sim in it for a week then send it back and take the new voda deal.

I think id rather have the unlimited txts instead of just 300 as i think ill go over that. Plus i have the knowledge that voda have full 3g signal in my area and have had no issues with the unlimited net / reception in past year.
 
Really annoyed, I pre-ordered mines back when they put them up, and mines wont be despatched until tomorrow. I asked why they are sending them to people who ordered recently and they said its a first come first served system.

Err yes so why wasn't mines despatched?!

I placed mine on the 24th and received it on the 27th ;)

No idea why yours is taking so long, credit check gone wrong or something?
