*** The official HTC One S thread ***

Strange......

Same app essentially, but the one I am talking about is a beta version so it could cause the resetting problems on the S, as I was using it when my crash happened and northstander had a few crashes with it installed (although I think he said he wasn't using it) as well as a few other people apparently. But I don't think it is related to it at all now :(

I don't think I will be using any stock based ICS ROM as the camera in sense is far better IMO plus you will loose all the features like slow motion video, the effects etc. which I use quite a lot :( and same goes for the sense gallery, calendar etc. unless they can port them over.......

Only configuration I would be using is sense based ROM (cut down a lot with most of the features/widgets removed) and an ICS theme.

Restoring my Sense cut down rom now as the video recording doesn't work :). You right, the Sense camera is much better.

Yeah swiftkey has the best prediction without a doubt, I just hate the themes and layout though :( The modified ICS beta theme isn't too do bad......

I am now using ICS keyboard until the beta is out of the beta stage and put on the market for everyone. Love the stock ics theme/layout and the prediction isn't too bad either plus it adds spaces if you "miss hit" the space button or forget to add a space yourself between a couple of words.

I love the sense keyboard as well especially once calibrated, the theme and layout is spot on IMO and feels great to use, but the prediction isn't as good as ICS keyboard and no where as good as swiftkey :(

Figured out streaming stuff from my PC last night but it was stuttering a bit even without it being a particularly large or high res file. probably down to the **** router we have, really need to pester my dad more to change ISPs and get a new router

Did you enable best wifi performance in the wifi settings on your mobile? That helped mine out when streaming, so I can easily play 720P MKV tv shows using either mx or bs player but still stutters badly on 1080/720P MKV films :( But this is down to my **** superhub.

What ISP and router on you on?

That may be why then (your router that is) :p

There might be a setting for media streaming on your router homepage where all the general settings are, like the firewall, who is connected to the router etc.

Change to BT or Virgin! :p

Took some more photos. I'm no photographer so don't really know if the sky should be visible or not in the normal shots but it still looks a bit bloomy considering it's not an overcast day :o The hdr one does look nice though...

All auto

iso 800
yO5hH.jpg
auto iso HDR mode
A73sR.jpg
auto iso exposure -1

auto iso exposure -2

basically sometimes it looks odd sometimes it doesn't and i just can't tell :p

I think those shots are fine, not due to a faulty camera, just the auto for ISO is a bit too too much/sensitive.

HDR is great for outside shots on a "brightish" day
