***The Official HTC One Thread***

Swiftkey has always been my choice, but there has been an annoying glitch since the HO recevied 4.2.....double first letter = try to type something like Daily and Swiftkey puts Ddaily.....rinse and repeat!
I have their Beta running at the moment instead, as has been driving me nuts!

How are you guys who have had it a while now finding the battery in everyday usage (without disabling essential features)?

This is average for me. Everything turned on (sync etc) accept for blink feed (I don't like it). Auto brightness. Most of the screen time is down to gaming. Most of the time I have 1 bar signal strength (poor signal at work) and I'm connected to wi-fi most of the day. I'll get another hour screen time before it dies:

ARHD 12.1 with ElementalX 3.4 kernel.

It would last 2 days with fairly minimal usage.

Seems that when Google said 4.3 would be coming to the Google editions "in the coming weeks" they meant it.

Does this mean the normal version may end up being released sooner? Unfortunately I guess not. :(

Glad that the Google edition phones do seem to be getting timely updates though, they would have been a bit pointless otherwise! :p

I know it is not that long since 4.2.2 was made available for download OTA, but do we have any idea yet when 4.3 will be available for those of us who own a 'standard' HTC One?

Thanks! :)

It is now rolling out OTA. I haven't got it yet though.

The dump is on xda just tried it, no real noticeable difference IMO but I prefer htc rom so will wait till ARHD has it incorporated which won't be long I bet.

I don't mind if they skip 4.3 anyway, have a Nexus 10 and there's not that much difference from 4.2. Rather I feel HTC should use this time to concentrate on upgrading their previous phones to 4.1/4.2/Sense 4+/5 first, and then start cracking on 5.0/KLP when it's out.

Just curious guys...how do you actually install Google Keyboard? I've managed to install SwiftKey without fail but when it comes to enabling Google Keyboard it isn't actually available after installing the app. Only options showing are Google Voice, HTC Sense input and SwiftKey Trial...just doesn't appear regardless or what I do, any ideas?

Its an issue with certain CID's. I had it when I was on 001 but changed mine to super CID (ALL 1'S) and it installed fine.

Yeah I will be surprised if you see 4.3 within 5 months :p

4.2 still isn't on last years phones and that has been out a lot longer plus isn't as big of an update as 4.3 either......

It all depends on what they do with sense too i.e. if they leave sense as it is then they could be a quicker.

It is actually quite a decent update imo, more so compared to 4.2 anyway. Most of the stuff is under the hood. Kind of reminds me of the 2.2 update.

On my HTC One (from Vodafone) I have a "Flash Player Settings" icon on my application home screen, but it doesn't appear in my list of installed applications, so I can't remove or delete it.

I can't remember actually installing it in the first place, so was wondering if this is a 'stock app, as it only seems to bring up the Adobe Flash Settings Manager in the standard web browser, and not in Chrome.

Is this expected behaviour?

Thanks! :)
