*** The official HTC One X thread ***

According to a few this update has sped the phone up a bit now! :D Wonder how it compares to the S now.

And some reports that there is no more yellow screen tint or flickering issues, however, a few have stated that their flickering issues are much worse now..........

2 things so far.

The phone is faster and smoother, not perfect but very good.

The battery information is more detailed.

Just charging it up and will monitor the drain.

Oooh, unbranded here (albeit not in Norway!) will go check....

EDIT : d'Oh ! Nothing yet :p

Best thing of all, the latest update has sorted out the battery drain 'bug' where it would sit at a certain % and then drop a few % at once.

It drains properly now. Excellent. :D

I had my own port of AOKP booting this afternoon, but hadn't made as much progression network wise as Trip so gave his a go too.

It runs very smoothly apart from some minor rotational issues, and the obvious lack of network stability, but its definitely the way forward.
It did however confirm for me that the One X just isn't for me, as I really don't like the hardware key positions. You can happily change the position of them in AOKP, so I think k a phone with software keys is the way forward for me .

Might be a stupid question but how are you guys checking for these updates?

I currently have no internet at home, and a really really weak HSDPA/3G connection, so I'm on '2G' most of the time

How do I know if I need to do an update?? I remember my BB used to tell me when I connected it to the PC sometimes
