My Desire is now 2 years old give or take (got it on launch day) so this may be a nice upgrade
Same here, I bypassed the last generation of phones as I didn't feel anything was worth it.
Instead of getting this on release day, I'm going to wait until the SGS3 comes out and see which is the better one of the two

This is my next upgrade, Desire to Desire S, and I use a Sensation XL a lot, can not wait for this. I'm glad I held off and didn't buy the galaxy note last month.
Hope the screen comment is true, I love the sensation xl screen, and 4.7 seems to be the sweet spot for me. Roll on the reviews

I don't think they've adjusted the prices of the phones because of it, it's just that the models with the 'proper' headphones are more expensive.

Very tempted by this as I am still on the original Desire and I'm due an upgrade on Orange in April-May sort of time.

Ditto - The only phone I was considering was the Galaxy SIII and was waiting to see what that was like, but this maybe a serious contender too.

I do hate plastic on phones nowadays but I think the days of the Desire builds are over sadly. Will keep the desire just to show people in 10 years time how proper smart phone was made.

I remember last year looking at the HTC Sensation when it was announced and deciding it was the one for me.

my gf is looking for a new phone in a few months and has always been a fan of htc so this looks great other then the no removable battery...
she uses it as her music player as well so goes throw more then 1 a day cupple of days a week... so will depend on battery life reviews for this phone.
