*** The official HTC One X thread ***

Why not use Google Music, it's not officially supported here but only takes a minute or two to get around that.
Not heard much about Google Music. Could I upload my music collection and store it in the cloud? Not sure it would work for me as I commute to work on the train and I often find my phone has no reception. My aim is to find a phone with a large about of onboard storage and increase it with a big microSD card so that combined there's enough capacity on the phone to store my entire music collection. :) Then I can think about getting rid of my old, battered, knackered iPod. :p

It kinda baffles me how people can use 32GB on a phone. What do you put on it?

Each to his I suspect. 32gb and no SD slot I can live with. One S with half that not so good for me.

I can't say I miss the SD slots. The bigger problem with this phone is the signal issues with the random drop and reconnect of the mobile signal.

Amen to that. Out in the sticks with a good signal on a Motorola, a Nokia and even an original Desire and suddenly the One series and it's as if our house and yard is lead lined or some invisible force field. Take either to the city though and they are great? I get about 99 to 91dBm in the house on my One X but better in the yard. It forever is dropping and reconnecting? One S is similar but worse reception and although it'll drop connection doesn't reconnect, having to be forced. Both great phones ruined for me

So the HTC One X+ is probably the version we're going to get here for EE and not the S4 version?

It's already up for preorder on Clove.

Need some help with my one x if pos.

When I call people they cannot hear me at all, I called my land line with the phone and sure enough there is loads of static/interference sounds going on and you cant hear any voice at all. This probably happens on half my calls, the quality is fine on my end.

I am rooted and have tried loads of diff roms, along with a full wipe each time to no avail, anyone come across anything like this before ?

I am thinking I will need to return it but was worried about the unlocked bootloader, I got the phone from O2, do you think it would be best to contact them or HTC directly ?

Thanks for any help, I use the phone all day for business so you can imagine how annoying it gets :)

Did you relock it and flash ruu to send back?

Any idea if it's possible to flash an RUU on a phone with a newer firmware version (ie jellybean)

I always get wrong version errors :(

Quick question for those with stock ROM or custom Sense ROM.

If you install a 3rd party video player (e.g. MX Player), click on a video file in stock Gallery, do you get the option of being able to select the player?

For some reason mines always defaulting to the stock video player.
