*** The official HTC One X thread ***

First the bad news, jellybean has supposedly been put back to December now :(

Now the possibly good news if true (or should I say excellent news! :p), supposedly the one X 5 will be a google device, so:

- 5" screen
- 1080P res
- S4 quad with adreno 320 GPU
- 2500mAh battery
- 12MP camera
- newest version of jellybean 4.1.2
- supposedly 64GB internal storage (very much doubt that though.......)
- LTE connectivity

And all your other stuff like NFC etc.

Best of all, stock android and google's official phone so no need to worry about updates etc. at all :D

Dream phone? YES! Really hope this is true.

Although 5" might be a bit too big for my liking but I am sure that I could get use to it and all the excellent hardware etc. would make up for the size :p, be great if they use the aluminium uni-body with MAO like the one S *drool*

That may be something to do with HTC realizing that they're not selling as well as expected? After signal issues I've had with both S and X, HTC are off my list for now..
 
Got a Grade A Refurb One X arriving in a couple of days.:)

Locked to T-Mobile but getting an unlock code is easy and cheap enough.

What's generally regarded as the best ROM at the moment in terms of battery life and performance? Seen mention of Viper ROM in here.
 
I got a B Grade one a couple of weeks ago not a mark on it, also had the benefit of having a zagg screen protector on it, not quite sure why it was B grade but not complaining, I got mine unlocked within 10 mins for about £6 think you can get it a bit cheaper on the bay
 
Got my first ever scratch on my screen. It's about 3mm wide and it's visible when the screen is off and very, very tactile when you run your finger nail over it :(

Don't know how on earth it got scratched or what scratched it. It's sits in my pocket with keys since day 1 and keys never damaged it. Not sure what materials I have lying around that could have damaged the glass, but I must have put it face down on something... :'(

Looking like another crappy slightly upgraded version :(

Supposedly tegra 3 chipset :o

Only thing that looks good is the storage, bet you the battery will probably be the same as well.

Why do HTC bother with mobiles like this when they're are barely any different than the "base" mobile?


Will not post much more on this device until we see more specs though :p
