*** The official HTC One X thread ***

To be fair to him when you can tell what phone a reviewer has without them actually telling you the review is bias in one way or another. In that review it was fairly obvious that even though the points picked up on may have been broadly correct they way they were portrayed was not... I don't think it was particularly bias but there was way too much personal opinion in it to be a good review, aside from the fact he spews on about fanboys in the entire article.

Yup that article is garbage. The comments say it all tbh.

Ok im abit worried about my handset. might have to take it back.

When tilting the screen into or out of landscape mode in any app I get errors on the screen where the notification bar is.

trying to get a screen grab but not been fast enough yet. anybody else get this?

I've had that once I think, no where near as bad as the vid though.

I got my One X today, couple of questions, im moving from Desire HD running CM7.1

Is there an alarm clock that you can run when you go to bed that actually shows the clock so you can see it in the dark? the old sense had one but this seems to only have world clocks, not a proper display

And secondly is there a way to change the shortcuts on the lockscreen or do they have to be the same as in the dock ??

Thanks

What does that mean?

In a nutshell, S-OFF means that the NAND portion of the device is unlocked and can be written to. The default setting for HTC’s devices is S-ON, which means that neither can you access certain areas of the system nor can you guarantee a permanent root. Furthermore, signature check for firmware images is also ensured by the S-ON flag.

Excellent thanks!

Have to say the speaker on the One X is much clearer for making calls then my old iPhone .....

Where are the settings for Beats Audio? Want to make sure it's switched off.

When you plug in headphones it automatically appears in the system tray. You can switch it off when it appears.

You can only appear to activate it/deactivate it with headphones in. It remains off at all other times.

yup what bobby says.

i am going to wait for two things:

A. for my 28 day return/replace policy to end(if the phone develops a fault i can swap it in any CPW shop within 28 days)

B.for S-Off and Cynagon mod to be released
