*** The official HTC One X thread ***

I managed 21h of use from a full battery yesterday. That's with a few calls, loads of texts, occasionally twitter, facebook and instagram update, no push notification (cept Facebook and Instagram) and 30 minutes of iPlayer.

Pretty good I'd say.

My sim free One X is due today but I'm getting a touch of buyers remorse.... I've got a S2 currently, and maybe think I really should wait for the S3, but then I really prefer Sense if I'm honest....

HNNNNNNNNNNGH... What to do!?!?

Keep the One X, obviously.

Just picked up my one X from Carphonewarehouse. They matched the t-mobile deal so on a 18 month contract, 25 a month for 300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited internet, unlimited landline calls and paid 20 for the handset. Feels like a bargain to me!

You can disable unwanted apps through the apps menu in settings.

Was very pleased when I first heard that a few days back. Disabled all the rubbish that I can't uninstall which puts a lot less rubbish in my app drawer.

EDIT: Cannot believe that **** is censored. How ridiculous.

Finally got mine today (a whole week after it was released!). Provider only had one choice of colour, the only one I didn't really want: white.

So far it seems nice and snappy, still to burn the battery in a little bit. Default music that comes with the device is trippy and wierd, can't wait to get rid of that.

The keyboard is a joy to use, and this is coming from a user who used the Desire Z's physical keyboard. It's simple to type on and I make minimal mistakes on it.

It is super lightweight in comparison to my Desire Z. Seriously, it's like I don't have a phone in my hand now.

The screen is just beautiful, it's perfect. I can't look at my other phone without thinking "bleh". It truely is remarkable, even under direct sun and facing a wierd angle it's perfect.

Can't wait for the S-Off and ROMs to flow in, that's when it will be even more fun to play with. But for now, Sense 4.0 is a big improvement over previous versions and seems to just flow nicely with everything.
