Can't say my battery life is anyworse than any other smartphone ive had, get a full days heavy useage out of it or a couple days of light usage. Having said that I think my battery is dying or somethings up with the phone itself as for the last couple of days its been showing 100% all the time.....


I've ordered a 1900mah anker which should be with me in a couple of days
 
Can anyone recommend a solar charger for the sensation? I have been looking at a few here and there, but a lot of the reviews are mixed. Can anyone recommend a working solar charger, ideally with a small battery storage, that isn't silly money either :)
 
When I bought my sensation used from a retailer it was supposed to be a vodafone handset, there was however no branding whatsoever, anyway im going to return it to HTC for repair has it has a charging issue, ive flashed a vodafone ruu now I have a huge vodafone logo on the boot, is this right?
 
With HTC taking their sweet time, is there a simple way to get a stable jelly bean release onto the sensation? I've not rooted or flashed custom roms before, but I'm willing to give it a bosh to have a play.

I'm now running CM10 Kang Beta which is Jelly bean. Been very impressed since the last couple of releases have made it totally stable for me and its really smooth without sense to slow things down.
 
Is rooting and flashing a CM rom hard? I'm not new to firmware and thing (used to flash my PSP all the time) but I've not done it on a phone before. Is it a pain to then set up your network on it, or is it just a case of putting the settings in manually?
 
I have an update on my phone that keeps asking me to download and install.
If i update will this mean I can't root it if i decide i want to sometime in the next few weeks?
Im on 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6
It's a Sensation XE if that makes a difference.

Sim should have all the settings on automatically, also there is usually a apn file in the rom too

how big is the update and does it say what it is? Three is always that possibility

I thought you said that you would be staying well away from HTC devices after reading Ravster's experience with the repair centre? :p

TBH, I won't recommend anyone a HTC device either now due to ****** support with updates etc.
