Surely by now people must realise it's just a cult of personality surrounding him? We're going to be told he was born on top of the white cliffs whilst his mother whistled the tune to Rule Britannia?

Look, it's really simple:

Farage offered resignation as promised.

UKIP NEC refused to accept resignation.

Farage remans UKIP leader.

In out vote is yes

Scotland leave the union.

Scotland rejoin the EU and everyone north of the Watford gap moves to Scotland.

Scotland's economy starts to ROLF Stomp

Galloway to challenge his defeat, suggesting the other lassie lied, and made up stuff about him going to Pakistan and pretending to be her father to obtain her marriage certificate from when she was 15 years old.

Yes the story makes as much sense as what I have typed.
No doubt it might actually be explained in time.

Erm how? he tended his resignation and it was rejected.

If clegg had been as loved by his party they would have done the same. I suspect you would be defending clegg.

This anti UKIP frenzy is getting old now. Just let it go and see what happens in the next few years... my guess is they will fade away, assuming the tories act within reason and the economy does well.
I can only imagine how much they would be slating other politicans for doing the same thing. You can suspect what you like, but I wouldn't defend Clegg either.

It's funny how even calling it into question automatically gets you branded as a butthurt lefty though. Now that is getting boring.
