*** The Official iPad (Early 2012) Thread ***

I had no iPad 2 to compare against but I find the battery in this to be great. Charge times aren't a problem either, as people have said, it's usually an overnight job anyway.

Almost 2 weeks in and love it. My best 'tech' purchase for a while now.
 
Watched 300 (720p) read EDGE magazine and played game dev story for 30 minutes on the eurostar yesterday, went from 99% to 92%.... suffice to say I WAS SHOCKED. (50% brightness, WiFi off)

You also don't see many laptops packing a 12,000 mAh battery which would explain why they charge so much faster. Most laptops have a battery about half of this capacity or less.

Ordered an iPad from the Apple website, delivery time says 1-2 weeks (estimated). Has anyone here ordered one from the Apple website within the past week and gotten theirs yet?
 
Wonder why they didn't include a more powerful charger, would've made more sense; maybe there's some techical reason behind it!
 
The charge time is annoying sometimes and I'm glad I knew about it before I bought one. You could give the prior versions a quick blast to top them up - there's just no such thing as a quick top up with the iPad3.

It is what it is. You just have to take it into consideration.
 
ok i hate apple

got pre ordered they delivered first one new ipad 32gb wifi 5 dead pixels returned

today got second one now that was awfull the half screen is white second half purple also returned

can u plss guys tell me some shop not online which has new ipads so i just walk and buy

Mine had a light leak....new one arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed its perfect!
 
i am fed up sold ipad 2 2 month ago so i just want this f......ing new ipad

pls someone knows any shop were i can just walk and buy

and also new ipad which arrived today was 100 percent charged is it normall?
