Just maybe he's on wifi 24/7...

I never understand how people can go through so much data, my phone will be on wifi at home, wifi at work, wifi on the train, so its only really when out and about that I would use data, what do people do to use 6GB or more a month!

I don't have Wifi at work or in the car.

What are your thoughts on it otherwise? I'm looking at coming from a larger phone (OnePlus 6) so would be interested in what you've moved from, and how you're finding it, when you get the chance!

Edit: which I realise you won't have done in the 3 minutes since it arrived!!

I like it, prefer a smaller phone anyway. Went from an 8 to this. I am missing the home button though :D

6Gb of data? Surely that isn't enough for a month unless you just don't download or actually do anything? Then what's the point of having a phone like the iPhone... lol

Plenty for me. I work from home (have done for 15 years) so I dont nee dmuch data. I average 2gb a month, so 6 for me is more than enough.

It's here and it's massive, hard to believe my 6+ was this size. Anyway, it's of course a great upgrade but hamstrung by iOS still running in Fisher Price mode. Wish they would allow a higher resolution option, even with text at smallest everything is MASSIVE. So much wasted screen estate, why is Control Centre so big? Why is the App Library the same scale as small phones, only fitting a few folders at a time? Maddening.

This is my main concern, I do like my buttons as a primary unlock/contactless feature, only let me down once and that was when I had been snorkelling and forgot my gloves so my finger tips were all a bit 4k'd and I couldn't use TouchID...

My max just got delivered! Looks amazing in real life but i keep going to press the home button lol so annoying! Upgraded from an 8+
You want to try going back to a button after using face unlock for a few years :) had to borrow an 8 from my brother when i sent my 11 pro max for repair it was horrible :)

Allready getting used to it to be fair, so I was being a drama queen :p

The screen and camera are great though. Apple leather case ordered from Amazon as this slippery sucker wont last long otherwise.

Still waiting for my max between 4pm-5pm delivery ! *sighs*

Did everyone get there phone to work ok on quick start (device migration) tried the wifes 12 pro swapping form the XR and it wouldn't work in the end had to pull it back via cloud when she got her phone few weeks back.

I was a huge Touch ID fan and scoffed at the thought of Face ID... but now couldn’t go back. Works brilliantly and so handy for a job where your hands get dirty.

Mines was really quick and without issue.

Hows the FaceID with masks though, have they sorted it so it'll pick up enough detail from the top of your head and work?
When I'm at events we have masks on 90% of the time (weirdly I haven't died from lack of oxygen doing 24h jobs) so TouchID was a winner...
