Nope you will have to pull the mask down in order for it to unlock. Otherwise it will fail and prompt you for your pin code.
I believe so - I'm migrating from the XS Max and it's doing a 14.2 update now.
Did you guys just have wifi connected or bluetooth on .
Could for life of me get the wife's to work kept failing and i read today someone saying you need bluetooth on ?

Oh does it can't recall seeing that when trying to set wifes up just used the camera to scan and then seemed happy but kept failing in the end ? .
Got the Pro Max today, put it in the clear case and used it for a few minutes. Shocking that Apple can charge £50 for that, it feels like it cost 10p to make and it’s way too slippy

I am in two minds about Pro Max, will it be much better than my current Samsung S10+?

Yeah I just got in from work and it's doing the 14.2 update now, it's a big phone but I'm sure I'll get use to it.
Have a look on Amazon as they are doing the official leather ones for £10 less than Apple. Unless you are after a different brand leather case.
I picked up one for my 12pro a few days ago.

Right restoring back up now but have noticed email accounts i run want passwords inputting from cloud back up . Still couldn't get migrate tool to work said couldn't activate phone ? .
This is going to take hours.
It's replicated from my old phone and now it's doing the sync thing - It looks like it's doing photos first and even though my phone does the 'optimised' versions, because the apps haven't loaded yet, it's downloading my entire photo library. All 50Gb of it!
When it's done, it'll then start downloading the apps and at that point it'll offload the full versions of the photos and just keep the optimised ones.

Pro Max going well so far, first iPhone coming from a P20 Pro, everything switched across easy enough, all WhatsApp was a right chew on, but all sorted. Screen is excellent, just need to get to grips with the differences.
