Tried to sign up to their 0% finance or the apple upgrade programme? I didn't think it was possible to sign up to the latter unless you go into a store.

It was Barclays 0% via the apple site

Never had an issue being accepted on Barclays finance, even had to be approved twice this year due to the pre pre order screw up and my earnings aren’t anything special.

It's always baffling when it happens. May give them a call in the week but I imagine they won't yield many answers

See that happened to me once too! Fine everywhere, never had an issue.. then declined Klarna for a pixel 5 a few years back.

Not sure why Barclays declined today but it is what it is, they say you can call to appeal the decision but I doubt they will offer to do much. Checked Clearscore, Experian and Transunion all absolutely fine so not sure. Could just be a blip their end or maybe I input something incorrectly but won't risk another hit just to be sure

What’s weird is I have a Barclaycard with an 8K limit, I can get Barclays finance from Apple, yet the Barclays finance thing on Amazon that lets you pay monthly declines me. Yet they are all Barclays.

It was weird mind. Like once I submitted the form, it instantly loaded in a flash with the decline like it didn't even need to process it maybe that's just how fast these things are these days but it was like super instant NO

Just tried myself, never really have issues etc and got declined. Says they look at Experian etc of which mines apparently like 994/999 at the mo.

Will leave it but just seemed odd

On interesting. Tbh I just assumed what I said was true, just seemed like it would go against a person's file negatively. Good to know, I think I'll still hold off as the decline made me feel like less of a man
